In a revolutionary UK first for estate agents, Inzo, the Fulham-based residential sales and lettings agency, has unveiled inzo mobile - a fully functional property search service for mobile phone or PDA users.
Thanks to inzo mobile, prospective buyers and tenants looking for property in South West London can visit www.inzo.com and search inzoâs entire property database via Internet-enabled mobile phones or handheld PDAs. This unique service enables users to view full property details including colour photos, floor plans, location map and comprehensive room descriptions including dimensions.
Announcing the launch, David Namany, Managing Director of inzo, said: âIn a highly competitive market, the successful estate agents are going to be those who keep in close contact with their prospective purchasers and tenants, as well as providing the best possible service to people looking to sell or rent their property.
âOther, less technologically pioneering, agents give at best a scant summary of a property or rely on inferior WAP technology and expect the customer to then contact the branch for more information. Inzo mobile gives real time detailed information with the aim of making the whole buying/letting process much simpler.â
The new inzo mobile service is in addition to inzoâs text and email property alert services, electronically notifying customers of new property listings.
Inzo has also linked its web presence to its property boards, with each board displaying a reference number whose details can then be accessed via a search on inzo mobile.
David Namany added: âThe property board search function is to help give those people researching an area to get a âfirst impressionâ of a property and help reduce the time for both themselves and our negotiators in viewing properties which donât fit their criteria or preferred location.

Inzo mobile has been designed to work on any smartphone or PDA with internet access via GSM, GPRS or 3G network, as well as the recently launch O2 i-mode phones.
Inzo does not charge for this mobile service but users will still be liable to their operator's charges for using the internet on their phone. Operators charge for time spent browsing or amount of data downloaded, for example if an operator charges £2 per megabyte of data downloaded, it would cost approximately 5p to view full property details with photos, map and floorplans.
The inzo mobile service has been designed by Fusion Advertising & Design, the Tunbridge Wells-based Internet and e-marketing agency.
