CLG: 17.1% rise in house prices in London |
House prices in London were up 17.7 per cent in the 12 months since October 2006, the largest growth of England's regions.
That is according to figures from the Communities and Local Government (CLG) out today.
This is 6.4 percentage points above the UK average of 11.3 per cent.
The survey finds the average house price in London in October was £343,444.
